Job Description This two year Modern Apprenticeship is based in Dundee House, working full time, 37 hours per week. The Modern Apprentice Scheme is focused to target high youth unemployment in the Dundee Area. Funding for training is only available for candidates aged 16 to 19 or disabled/care experienced applicants up to the age of 29. Previous applicants should not re-apply.Requirements You will have 2 Higher Grades, including English and Maths/Science at level C or above, or equivalent National Qualification in a computer related subject.Responsibilities To undertake appropriate theoretical and practical training to work as part of the IT Software team on IT software maintenance, support and development projects and support business solutions to meet the Council’s needs.The Individual You will have excellent problem solving skills, excellent oral/written communication skills You will be able to prioritise a workload and able to analyse information with particular attention to detail and be flexible and adaptable to change and to use initiative to problem solve You will have the ability to work effectively as part of a team and awareness of the importance of confidentiality.
