Argyll and Bute Council are looking to recruit a full-time permanent IT Engineer to join our ICT Desktop team. This is an exciting role based in the Council HQ in Lochgilphead, working within a dynamic team which has a strong focus on customer service.
You will be responsible for providing hardware and software support with second and third line operational support, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of service requests, issues and incidents.
You will have up to date experience and strong skills centring around Microsoft operating systems and desktop applications. Ideally, you will have experience in scripting and remote support along with excellent customer service experience and overall strengths in technical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
