Reporting to the IT Client Server and Software Technical Team Lead, this is a senior post within the new IT Services structure and is critical in the delivery of effective and efficient IT Services. As Client and Server Management Specialist your challenge is to be the subject matter expert on the monitoring and remote management of clients and servers used by West Lothian Council and provide technical leadership within the fields of client and server monitoring and management.

The post will work closely with the other Advanced Specialist posts within the team covering specialist areas including Unix, Wintel, Security, Networking and Application Interface Development providing an excellent IT service provision to all of our customers.

This permanent role provides an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the new IT structure within West Lothian Council IT Services.

IT Services structure is based on ITlLv3 and you must have a solid understanding, knowledge and experience of good practice.

Applicants will have proven experience implementing and supporting client and server management technologies in a multi-site, multi-security profile compliance organisation, including a minimum of three years working within a Microsoft SCCM environment.
