Reporting to the IT Technology and Solutions Manager, this is a senior post within the new IT Services structure and is critical in the delivery of effective and efficient IT Services. As an Advanced Application Interface Developer your challenge is to be the subject matter expert on the development of interfaces to facilitate the integration of a diverse line of business applications and enable consolidated reporting across them providing leadership within the fields of application integration and data analytics.
The post will work closely with the other Advanced Specialist posts within the team covering specialist areas including Unix, Wintel, Client and Server Management, Networking and Security providing an excellent IT service provision to all of our customers.
This permanent role provides an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the new IT structure within West Lothian Council IT Services.
IT Services structure is based on ITlLv3 and you must have a solid understanding, knowledge and experience of good practice. Applicants will have proven experience of integrating software systems including three years’ experience working with the systems in use within West Lothian Council.
